Castle Combe is one of the oldest circuits around and, apart from a couple of chicanes added in 1999, it's hardly changed since 1950.
Avon Rise braking on the bumps into Quarry Bend is a combination of precision and confidence whilst the run down to Tower from The Esses will have you constantly researching new lines. This is a very British race circuit with seemingly few corners and yet very technical, you're constantly busy. A great leveller of machinery, easily underestimated and challenging. The circuit has tight noise restrictions, make sure your car is compliant to avoid disappointment. |
